anyone heard of this? My mil said it's down in Orlando - SOMEWHERE...is it worth going to see???or is it a waste of time?

You're probably referring to WonderWorks. A kind of hands on science place for kids (but not the orlando science center).
It's fun for kids. We enjoyed it. If memory serves, it's on I-drive by Pointe Orlando Mall. Or somewhere around there.
