upsetting - funeral songs

[islandmum]

okay - difficult one here ...

has anyone got any experience with funeral songs for a childs funeral?

looking for ideas for a couple of songs to play, nothing religious, nothing too heavy (Like tears from heaven), but something still really meaningful about how much "I" love "you", how you're my everything, my sunshine etc etc.

doesnt have to be solemn, but has to have real meaning.

any thoughts?

we have friends whose newborn baby died and at her funeral played Little Wing by the Corrs, it was so beautiful and whilst it was playing the most beautiful butterfly flew across the room and landed on the window( this wasnt intentional and quite comforting in strange way)

I sent her the link to play it on Youtube - she said that says it all and she wants to play it. Its a beautiful song. Its the one I love most about saying I love my boys.
