Upset Today

Hi

Today is my wedding anniversary Dh and I exchanged cards this morning, and my dad dropped off a card. I know that our closest friends have their card for us.

Not one family member other than my dad has acknowledged the day, I dont want bunting and balloons but a card or phone call would be appreciated.

I know theres nothing that any of you can do, but just thought I would feel bettter if I wrote it down, I feel so angry and upset

Just to cheer you up, DH and I never swap cards or give presents, he usually rants on about 'Being let out of prison by now' or words to that effect ~ LOL. The only card we usually get is from my mum (how sad is that), though I think we may acknowledge our 20th in a couple of years time

Like you said, at least you know that your hubby loves you and that's all that matters

We have been together 21 years and he always says that he could have been well out of prison by now, he would have got parole as he is q good boy

Oh sorry to hear this has upset you On our wedding anniversary this year only DMIL and my old school friend, who I see about 3 times a year, gave us cards.

This might make you smile, I have an elderly aunt who send me an anniversary card every single year, bless her she never forgets......even though Ive been divorced over 8 years and my ex husband is now remarried and has two other children My parents did keep reminding her for the first couple of years, but she still forgets Im divorced.
