UPS and Amazon comes through! Anyone waiting for delivery?

Xmas Eve ... 2 PM.. still hoping my Amazon purchases make it on time for Xmas. Then, what do I hear in the driveway? A big brown truck! Amazon and UPS comes through in the nick of time! Whew! Santa came in a big brown truck!! Next year I will not wait til the last minute to order my stuff... I say that every year, though

Same thing happened to meUPS came this morning with a few books for my dd. I ordered them last week and they sent an email early Tuesday saying that the order was delayed. Then by afternoon they had shipped. Yesterday morning they were in PA today at 10:30 UPS delived them ahead of schedule in MO!!!!

Yep, Fedex just left Delivered the cell phones we ordered for our DSs from Verizon. But its our fault, we didn't order them until 11pm on the 22nd but thankfully I found an online code for free overnight shipping

Still waiting for the UPS truck with a Best Buy order for my DD. We looked all over and finally ordered it -- hope it makes it.

We have had the ice storm come through (at least the start of it!!) We found my DH's car at the bottom of our driveway at a strange angle this morning!! It slid down overnight! Thank God it didn't get into the street -- it stopped at the edge of the curb!

I'm glad you've all got your Amazon orders in time for Christmas. I have always had great service from Amazon, even at the hectic Christmas time.

I don't order from third party sellers on Amazon - if it's not shipping directly from Amazon, I don't bother. On the few occasions when I have had problems with Amazon, it's invariably with an order from one of their third party suppliers.

Amazon rocks!

We were waiting for something to come from snapfish in regular USPS mail. It came today, but after we had already exchanged presents this morning with DH's parents. We'll give it to FIL tonight though anyways.

Package from Amazon was supposed to be here on the 22nd. It is being delivered USPS which has already come today. And it is a Rock Band game. My son is getting the Rock Band drum kit...Will be kinda hard to play without the game!

Yep! FedEx came about an hour ago with our last delivery. My parents will be here til next Tuesday so I wasn't worried but it came today! My mom will be thrilled, it's the Snapfish calendar of the grandkids, she started hinting about wanting one almost as soon as she got off the plane. Usually I'm late getting it to her but DD made them for me this year.

Settlers of Catan just arrived on my doorstep from Barnes and Nobles.com. I was all done last week and made the mistake of checking in here.Read about it in one of the threads and had to find it. Spent a day calling around and finally ordered it one day air. That was my one impulse item this Christmas. Hope we like it.

I never received my order and I am so upset. It was supposed to arrive no later than today. I even paid for shipping instead of using the free shipping. Not only did it not arrive but the USPS website has no record of it. I am so upset. It was one of the important gifts this year. I have emailed the seller twice today and got no response yet.

Me too! Mine got rescheduled to be delivered on 29th Another package from them went out the same day and got here two days ago!!!

Still waiting on mine with no end in site. Wasn't ordered last minute and wasn't OOS at the time of purchase (but is now). I am SOL. It isn't even for Christmas but my son's birthday in a couple of days but no chance of it arriving.

Several others on here had theirs shipped out Monday and arrived Wednesday. No idea how mine did not ship. I am more then disappointed and not happy about it at all! It will be a LONG time before I order from Amazon again. Had I received an email then I could have purchased it at the store! But I had no idea it wasn't arriving until I read a thread on here about it being backordered.

My kindle and both copies of the Blu Ray (the replacement and the lost one) showed up at 2:50, 10 minutes before we had to leave. But I am so glad they made it!! The Kindle arrived only 16 hours after I ordered it, how do they do that?

Sometimes if you're close enough to one of Amazon.com's warehouses, you can get things in *record* time! This is an example.

Amazon came through again for me this Christmas as in past years. All of DD's American Girl books arrived--even two titles that had a release date of 12/23! Even one of Amazon's freight partners, Pilot, delivered my plasma TV on Christmas Eve!
