Upromise tips got any???

Hi everyone,

I have a upromise account and have it linked to my student loans. I am trying to maximize my savings using this program. Has anyone had success with it? Any tips?

things I'm already doing
loading grocery coupons on cards
have my debit and credit cards linked to account
book all my travel through upromise

Get a Upromise Credit Card if possible. They give you 1% on all purchases... grocery savings is like 5% (not sure). We charge everything (those utility bill are a help!) and link for online purchases.

Don't forget friends and family. I get any $ earned from my parents and sister. Both have no children needing college money.

Don't let anyone tell you its not worth it. Any additional money will help. I have averaged around $400 a year since my daughter was born. Over 18 years, that interest will add up to a nice amount.

I try to buy the grocery items that are Upromise first. although if other brands are on sale then the Upromise goes out gthe window. We also have our debit and credit cards linked an buy all our gas at Exxon stations which will give youa percentage too. Have family members link their grocery cards to your acct too. thanks...wasn't sure about the family linking thing...I'm sure I get my parents to do that.

might try for the card too...never thought about paying my utilities that way.....hmmm smart move

I do all my online shopping through their links, have all my credit cards and frequent shopper cards registered, and when we eat out, we try and eat at a Upromise restaurant. And the Upromise credit card is handy too

It isn't points, it is cash.

I have earned more than $1500 in upromise. I love it.

I do not have the credit card, I just do a lot of online shopping.

I'm going to try and do more shopping online through the Upromise site and see if that helps me save more....and I guess I might be buying Synders of Hanover pretzels every month
