UPromise/Publix

Was obsessing today and working on some plans for our December trip to FL. On the Publix site I was trying to see if they have a shopping card (like Kroger or CVS, to get discounts w/o coupons) that I could sign up for online. Didn't find a place to do that but did find that Publix purchases can be used toward your Upromise account if you pick up a key tag at a cashier then register it online. Not sure if you have to fill anything out to get the key tag.....anyone shop Publix? I'd love to do this before our trip.

Our Roche Brother's does this around here, they have you sign up for a check cashing card, then they press their Upromise button and scan your card and you will get credit. They do not offer a savings card either.

No, you do not have to fill anything out to get the key tag card. You get a full size card and two key tag cards. You can get them at either the service desk or I have seen them at the checkouts as well.

Thanks Ohanamom! Since there is nothing to fill out I should be able to get my brother or one of my neices to pick one up for me. And yes Beanie this helped feed my need to pre-plan. *LOL*

I was given one at the check-out one day, probably cause I had one or both of my kids with me. It is a plastic sheet with a wallet sized card and 3 key tags. The cashier suggested I give a key tag to each grandma (which I did as they both shop at Publix), so that means all 3 of us are adding to the account. The cards have a barcode and number on them and you register them online. It does say to be sure to have the cashier scan the card before they have finished your order. Pretty cool, and easy to use. This reminds me to check on my account.
