I just saw a list where you can print out all the products that feature Upromise. So I am printing it and going to keep it with me so when I am making a purchase. I can combine my coupons, grocery cards and upromise. I think this will really help me to get that balance growing. All that money right now is slatted for Disney 2007!.

great idea to know what products are linked with upromise! Samrt thinking! ;)

Any idea howlong it takes to link your grocery card with upromise? more than two weeks?

that is a good idea. also my publix grocery store puts the upromise logo by the product to make it alittle easier for me to decide :sunny:

I believe it is a few days for them to link the cards when you put them online. I just bought a few Upromise things the other day. Not sure how long it takes to post.

All the upromise money is for my next Disney trip.

Are you guys saying you're able to cash out your upromise accounts? Tell me more, tell me more!!!

Rotten there is a thread here about Upromise. Yes you can take the money out. Go to the upromise site. I am not sure where it is. I do know if it is under a certain amount you do not need a signature card.

It has been taking FOREVER for the money to be posted online. I bought some things at Stop n Shop (Nestle Drumsticks) that had the Upromise on the box, and that was MONTHS ago and I still have not gotten credit for them, but my CVS purchase from last week is on there. I think the grocery stores are just getting slower and slower. When I first signed up, my things would be credited within a couple of weeks. I emailed Upromise and they said I need the information off my receipt (purchase date, UPC, etc.) and of course I don't have that receipt anymore, but now I know to save them in case I don't get credited.

I noticed that the grocery store items were taking longer to credit also. :( I hope they're not going to stop doing upromise like Toysrus did.

I have to ask the question... are you really coming out ahead by referring to the Upromise list? By that I mean, for example, if you like Aunt Jemima waffles and you have consistantly bought AJ waffles because you like them better than the competition, is it really worth it to switch to Eggos, which you don't like as much, just to get the few pennies that Upromise will provide?

Seems like you should buy what you like, and if it comes out on the Upromise list, so much the better!

Just my $0.02... any thoughts?

My thoughts exactly Paul! While something is certainly better than nothing, I really disregard their list! The amounts credited are so small that I will buy what I want! If I get something for it, great! I can't see how over time this adds up to much of anything! And, I buy alot of groceries for my family of six!

Well it adds up to something, since I earned $50. Granted it took me two years, but I only shop for two and don't buy a lot on the list, but eh, it's something :)

I guess my point for putting the link up was. Some people may not realize something they buy is Upromise. Or they may prefer to buy a Upromise brand that is on sale and they have coupons for.

Did not mean you should only buy Upromise to get 3 cents.

I have a WHOPPING $.01 . Not completely sure how it all works but I linked my Albertsons card and my Disney Visa and Check/Debit Card and will shop as normal and hope for the best. Deffiently wouldn't count on this paying for college though.

We have been members of Upromise for a couple of years now. our accounts are linked with DD's 529 plan (she will be 3 next month)... Between buying gas, groceries and online shopping including TDS several deposits have been made into her 529! (Like $200 +!!!) I do a lot of Christmas shopping on line and it really adds up!

As for college the way I see it every little bit helps.. At this point we have been contributing $100 a month to her 529 and plan on increasing it ! The upromise money is just extra in this account.. Besides a little bit for the 17 years before she graduates will definately help!
