Uploading ?

I got an account on Photobucket - recently purchased a Nikon D50 - just got the pictures loaded on PictureProject on my hard drive

I cannot seem to figure out how to upload my pictures? Can't even seem to find the folder that is on the desktop with the pictures in it.

When I click "browse" to select the picture location it won't take me to my picture folder in PictureProject?

What am i doing wrong? Can anyone tell what I am doing wrong?

DISCLAIMER: I am home with the FLU so my mind I am sure is not as sharp as it could be Any help is appreciated.

Also, do I need the upgrade of photobucket? it keeps prompting me to select if I want?

What I did with mine is I changed the file that PictureProject transfers the file to. Its kind of a pain the way the default is set up. It saves it to a folder deep in PictureProject under Program Files and each time you transfer from the camera it creates a new folder. This makes it even harder to find the first time you go though it. I hate that.

You can change all that. First create a new folder in an easier to find part of the computer (usually in My Pictures) I save all my pictures in order I took them each year. Then once you create the folder go into PictureProject. Go into Transfer. Options. Click on Browse next to the box that says Transfer destination folder: Then find the folder you want your pictures saved to. You can also unclick the "Create a new subfolder for each transfer", unless of course you want a new folder.

Thats the way I do it. I then find it much easier to find the picture folder when I want to upload pics to Photobucket.
