Uploaded Photos -- How to Adjust View?

Many of the photos that are uploaded appear to be side lying rather than upright. Is there a way to adjust the view so that they appear as they should?

I think it has to do with the way the image orientation is on the device/location you're pulling it from.

I was just about to ask the same thing. They are horizontal on my PC but when I try to upload them they all rotate and are landscape. Does anyone know how to fix this please?
