Upload Citizenship Docs ahead of Online Check-in?

I received an email today reminding me that my onboard activities booking window is now open. LOL, I booked onboard activities over a week ago. But at the bottom is has this:

I'm still outside my online check-in window. Can I upload citizenship documents ahead of online check-in? I clicked the link and it just brought me to a page where it says what citizenship documents are required. I would do it ahead if it makes online check-in faster.

I think not. There's a whole thread dedicated to getting through online check in as rapidly as possible to pick your PAT and no chatter about uploading docs ahead.

I know Dis doesn't know everything, but someone would have figured out that loophole if it existed.

Having recently done this, the documents upload process is a step during online check-in, which does not open up until your 30-day window. Our next step is uploading our vaccination cards to Safe Passage, which hasn't opened yet for our sailing.

I tried that, but it just brought me to the page where it tells you what documentation you need depending on where you're traveling from, etc.

Thanks for the replies everyone, it seems like this was probably just a reminder (for when I do online check-in).

I got the same email for a cruise in January. If I remember correctly, before Covid, you used to be able to put passport info and airline ticket info in before actually checking in for a PAT. Probably just some glitch.
