Uplander or Equinox??

I currently have a reservation for an Equinox for Mar 5-12 for $170. I keep trying every day or so to see if the rate goes down and I keep getting the Uplander cheaper (about $150). I didn't really want a minivan, but I was looking tonight online about the Uplander and it is somewhat like an SUV. At least the 2006 model is. Does anyone know what year models they use? Also any comments or suggestions on which one I should choose? There are only 2 adults and a 6 year old. Don't need alot of room.

We just returned and rented an Uplander. It was cheaper than the mid-size SUV. It was only 2 of us, but since it was cheaper we took it. The Equinox is small compared to the uplander. We folded the 3rd seat down to give us more luggage space.

But does the Uplander look and drive like a minivan? Chevy is calling it a crossover van, more like an SUV.

I have an Uplander as a comp. vech. We went from windstars I like it it drives nice .My personal cars are a Grand Cher. and reg cher. as it doesn't really compair to either it is nicer then the windstar and villagers that My parents have.
