UPH Question

Hi All!

Just a quick question about UPHs. I'll be taking a few friends down to SSR in October and am trying to decide whether to purchase a 5 day Hopper or go with the UPH with our 10% discount. My concern is that we're checking out at about 8am on a Sunday, but our UPH is good until midnight (which of course we won't be able to use). Is there anyway to get that last day taken off since I won't be using it?
When we stayed at the WL and I was "less educated" I took the UPH, but checked in around11:50pm and checked out at 6:00am and paid for those 2 days (silly me).

Which way would you go? Would I just ask at the desk to take off the one day?

They will take off the first and last day if you wish.

While that's usually the case, they have sometimes only been willing to take off one day. And the actual rules say it is to include the first and last day so if they do say no, they have rules to back them up.

That's exactly what I would do - tell the CM that we want to drop the last day because we were heading home at 8 am. I would be SHOCKED if you were told no. Never heard of it happening at a DVC resort. Enjoy the trip!

Can you pre-order UPH for a stay and get it in advance?

We're staying 2 nights at AKL, before our first trip to OKW. The day we were moving between hotels we planned to go to the parks in the morning, and then go to OKW and try and check in (after lunch). Could we have our UPH (with DVC discount) start that day. Is there anyway we could pick it up at AKL, or would we first have to go to OKW to check-in, and then pick it up. I'd hate to lose the mornings in the parks.

Nope.

You'd have to go to OKW and check-in first. You can get there as early as you want, and only one of your party (one who's name appears on the reservation) would need to go.
