upgrading?

I guessing this topic has been covered before and Im sorry for asking. We are leaving in 26 days and im starting to get freaked out by all the high school bands and football cheerleading event that will be there at that time. We are booked at ASMU. Im wondering if anyone thinks it wise for me to try and get a different reservation at this late time. I hear all these kids are running amuck at the value resorts? Not sure .
Would any of you do this with the budget all ready in place. Maybe its not as bad as I hear?

Its really up to you.

We could barely tolerate them in the parks (we went over a cheerleading competition one year), I think I'd have lost it if they were at my hotel. But I find barely chaperoned teenagers to be much more annoying than tantrum throwing toddlers.

Can someone clue me in on what the deal is with the bands?

I have one former and one current high school band kid. They would probably enjoy any band related activities going on if any are open to the public. We'll be there 12/18 - 1/1. Will any of it be happening then?

I never had a cheerleader, but I know our particular band group was pretty well behaved. I have a low tolerance for bad behavior, but I travelled to London with them once and they really were pretty good. Our band directors don't tolerate much from them.
