Upgrading Waterpark tickets

If I buy a one day pass to Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard beach and I enter the park can I then go back out to the ticket booth and apply the purchase price to a water park hopper annual pass? My DD isn't sure if she'll really like the water parks. If she loves them, I'll get her an AP, but if she despises the parks, I'd really rather only waste $30 finding out.

I'm not sure but a quick stop on your way in and you could ask at GS or the gate. Turnstyle CMs might not know the answer but the Ticketing people would.
