We are going to DL with 2 day passes this weekend. At the end, I'd like to upgrade to a SoCal select AP. If I do this and then find that later in the year (we will probably only go once or twice more in the spring) that I need a more liberal pass (like if I want to go weekends) can I upgrade to a regular Socal AP or PAP. Also, when I upgrade, does this become my new reneral date, do I get a pro-rated rate and my earlier purchase date, or do I just pay the full price, but get the earlier date.

I'm sorry this is so confusing - but I'm befuddled.

As long as you are paying more for each ticket in question, you can upgrade as many times as you want. We upgraded a 2 day to a SoCal then to a Deluxe a couple of years ago.

Any annual pass you receive will date back to the first day you used the 2 day ticket. The price for the upgraded ticket is not pro-rated, but you can use any discount for which you are eligible (such as DVC).

Enjoy -- Suzanne

How do you upgrade to a SoCal Ap if you don't live in SoCal?

You have to live in SoCal to receive that pass. They require a valid license (or other way to verify the address- I used my rental lease since the address on my license is my permanent address in norcal)
