Upgrading to Premier Visa

Finally getting around to upgrading from my regular Disney Visa to the premier one. But I'm a dunce and can't figure out how to do so (unless I just have to call them, which I can do).

Online I can "apply for a new credit card" and get the $100 after making $500 worth of purchases in 3 months (no problem-o). But I don't want to mess up my credit, or my credit limit, by doing that.

I searched back and saw others getting offers to upgrade by I don't think I've ever gotten one.

I did try searching for an answer on this one, but didn't find what I was looking for. Thanks!

(Also, silly question, but can you charge the annual fee on the card?)

I really wish they'd bring back the "5% back for 3 months" upgrade promotion.

you just have to call to ask to be upgraded.

If you apply for a new card, your credit score will dip by about 5 points for a few weeks. It should affect your credit limit unless you've reached the max that Chase will give then, then they may ask to shuffle the credit around.

You will be charged the annual fee but I don't believe it will earn any Disney Rewards.
