Upgrading to park hopper

We are thinking that we may want to upgrade to park hopper for our trip in December. Can we do this when we get to the park? Also is it possible to only get two of our four park tickets upgraded to park hopper even though we are all in the same Disney hotel room under the same reservation?

1. Can we do this when we get to the park?
2. Also is it possible to only get two of our four park tickets upgraded to park hopper even though we are all in the same Disney hotel room under the same reservation?

1. Yes. (But use the tickets at least one time to enter a Theme Park BEFORE you add the Hopper.)

2. Yes. (Only AFTER you arrive and start using your tickets.)
