Sorry if this is the wrong board....

With the new code out I am wondering if it would be a great idea for future (way future, 4-5 years) to upgrade my 7 day regular tickets to the 10 day no expire.

I am thinking for our 4 tickets it would only cost $400 more to go to 10 no expire. Does it matter that my to be 7 year old would be 10 or more when we would likely come back. Can I give her child's ticket to my now 2 year old to use then or pay to upgrade Nicole to an adult ticket?

I am not sure how many pluses I get for 7 days with the code but I don't think I want to swim in Jan. :rotfl: If I upgrade to no expire I am thinking a good way to get us back sooner and prepay for a few extra days.

Okay budget people, thoughts?

Nope, it doesn't matter at all. She can use it when she is ten or when she is 30, as long as the first use was before she was 10.

There is no transferring of tickets allowed although it would be possible with kids under 10 since they do not have to do the biometric scanning. But there would be no need, your oldest can use her ticket for this trip and any trips in the future until the ticket it used up.

It is always better to buy tickets ahead of time if you have the spare cash and it usually makes sense to buy the longest non-expiring ticket available. DH and I just went in Sept. We knew we were only going to the park a couple of days, but we bought 10 day non-expiring.

We agree. We went for the "free dining" in Sept. and purchased 10 day no expire. We know we will go back and the ticket prices always go up.

At the current time a MYW Premium (hopper and 3 plus options) five day is $283.29 including tax at the advance purchase price. (Or $566.29 for two of them.) The price for a ten day premium advance with no expire is $401.51. You save $164.78 (plus whatever increases) by purhase a ten day to cover two trips.

However there are two downsides. The minor one of only getting five plus options insteead of six, and the major one (similar to the problem with APs) of these tickerts will be lying in a drawer at home screaming "Use Me!".
