Upgrading to gold ap

We have an upcoming trip in February. A few months ago we purchased 5 day park tickets without hopper. We have now decided we will be taking a second trip within a year and are thinking about upgrading our tickets to a gold annual pass(we are dvc members). Will I need to pay to upgrade our tickets to hoppers first? Also, I prepurchased memory maker. Since gold ap includes photo pass downloads can I use the price of the memory maker towards the upgrade also? Thanks for your help!!

There's no need to add the PH option prior to upgrading. In regards to MM, I don't believe they'll put the cost of that towards an AP upgrade, but you could talk to guest services in regard to a refund.
