upgrading to AP

We have a June trip coming up followed by a full family trip in Nov so I'm thinking of getting an Annual Pass. We have water park plans and so will get the Platinum Plus AP---I'm going to get the 10 day park hoppers ahead of time and then upgrade at the park--do I need to get the Park Hopper Plus option or can I just the regular hoppers?

You can upgrade from any type of MYW ticket to an AP, so yes, you can purchase the 10 day park hopper (our the base ticket even) and upgrade once you're at the parks. We done this a couple of times. Helps to split up the total cost of the AP as well as allow you to make FP for that first stay.
