Upgrading to AP?

Hi!

I'm not sure if this is the appropriate board, but my question is about saving money and Disney, so why not!

DH and I have 5 day park hopper tickets for our trip 9/4-9/9. If we want to upgrade to AP, how we find out what the cost difference would be?

Also- would we want to upgrade these on our check out day so that we get even more 'time' with the AP?

Your AP expiration is based on when you first used the underlying tickets, so waiting to upgrade shouldn't extend the expiration. There is a slim chance the CM will process the upgrade incorrectly and give you those few extra days, but it's exceeding unlikely.

The price to upgrade will depend on how you purchased the tickets since some can be "bridged" while others are only worth what you paid for them. In general, look at the difference of the gate price for the tickets you have and the ones you want. That should be what you pay to upgrade.
