I wanted to hear from others who have experience with this - my family will be going to Disney World in a few months. I purchased a 10 day hopper however our plans now allow for us to stay longer so we would like to upgrade our tickets when we arrive to an AP.
I can get a discount thru our DVC for the AP. I found out that we will need to use our current 10 day hopper at least once before we can upgrade and that I need to make sure that the CM is charging the correct price difference.
What I am trying to figure out is will I be able to keep our current FP+ selections given two exceptions?
The first exception is if we use the original 10 day ticket "early" will the system take away a day that is currently scheduled for FP+ selections later on in the trip? After the first day is started we would then be down to 9 days after that until we upgrade our tickets.
Second part of the question - by upgrading to an AP (after we use our 10 day hopper at least once) will our current FP+ selections go away?
Thank you for any feedback - it helps with my planning!
