DH and I are going in December. We have 7 day passes with our package and we're thinking about upgrading to APs.
I just want to make sure I understand how this works. If an annual pass is $489 and a 7 day pass is $234, will it cost us $255 each to upgrade?
TIA!

I did read that thread. Thanks, it's a lot of great information.
Maybe I'm having an especially dumb day ;) but I just want to be sure that I deduct the cost of a 7 day pass, even when it's part of a package. Thanks

Yes, you will be credited the value of the multiday pass towards the purchase of an AP.

If the multiday pass is unused, then the purchase price of the pass will be applied to the cost of the AP.

If it has been used at least once, then you will need to upgrade to the AP withing 14 days of that first use and the AP expiration date will be 1 year from the first day that the multiday pass was used. You will get the gate price of the multiday pass applied to the purchase of your new AP.

This is important to know if you bought your passes from a ticket reseller or if you purchased from Disney prior to the last ticket price increase.
