Upgrading to annual pass?

My husband, son, and I are considering purchasing annual passes, but we have already purchased 6 day tickets through undercover tourist for our next trip. Can we upgrade to annual lasses once we get there? Will it mess with our fast pass/magic bands? Our first trip will be early in the summer and the second trip will be Spring Break (usually in March). We don't typically stay in park, so the difference in one of the thee annual passes would be almost paid for by what normally would go towards parking fees. Any thought or assistance you can offer would be very much appreciated.

Use the tickets to go into the parks and then head to Guest Relations for the upgrade and to link your AP's to your existing plans. It won't mess anything up at all. But I'd use the tickets first to lock in the current ticket prices before doing the upgrade.

Not only is that a good idea, it is essential... before upgrading.
