Upgrading to an AP

I've always had an AP but this year I'm getting a 3-day ticket to take advantage of MM with a family trip. If I want to upgrade to an AP on the 3rd day after using MM, can I just pay the difference between the 3-day ticket and the AP and upgrade?

Are you talking about the 10% discount coupons from the Mickey Moniter (MM)? Because those are only good at WDW in FL, not at DL in CA.

No. MM = Magic Morning

We did a couple of weeks ago. We used the MM then later that day we upgraded our passes and just paid the diffference. The CM was good she wanted to make sure we had used the MM already so checked..

This is how we do it every other year. First buy tickets with all the goodies (lanyard, pins, bags... whatever comes with it), use it for the EE and MM, then upgrade during the day. Use the AP as much as we can then when it's over we wait till our next plan trip and buy tickets again with all the goodies etc.

Oh FYI- try to upgrade in the middle of the day and not the end of the night, the lines get very very long at the end of the night and first thing in the morning.
