Can you upgrade tickets from undercover tourist? Specifically if I get a 3 Park Unlimited ticket could I upgrade it to a season pass ?

I am just not sure right now if we will be going a second time within the year, but on this trip we will be in Orlando for 2 weeks. I am getting one season pass (the second level so it includes parking) but if I could go ahead (before prices go up and while I have the money) and get the others I could decide later. I am just not sure how it works

Thank You!

3 park unlimited tickets CANNOT be upgraded. The other normal tickets can.

SO if I got the 4 day park to park and then upgraded that I could. Would I pay the difference and all the tax or only the tax on the 14 ish dollars (power pass-4 day?) I'm sorry, that really sounds stupid but I have never thought about doing upgrading to a season pass.
Is there a place to find the back out dates to make sure I am not hitting those?

I feel really dumb right now by the way, it seems simple so I am thinking it is not. Is there a reason not to get the 4 day and upgrade?

Interesting...I had not heard that...can you give more details? We had a 3 day park to park Universal ticket that we upgraded to an Annual Pass on our last day of the trip last year....is the ticket you are referring to something different? Thanks! :)

Undercover Tourist has a 3 park unlimited ticket, good for 14 days. Practically the same price for the 4 day park to park. The 3 park unlimited includes wet and wild.

This August we will be there 2 weeks and I can see us doing short days, most of the 14 days.

I had my mind all made up but now I am wavering :rolleyes2 I just don't see us using the wet and wild. Can I talk my husband into a second trip the very next year? Can we afford it? Will we like Universal enough to go right back? Is it worth the risk to just go ahead and get season passes anyway? ???? :sad2: I'm an idiot :-)

That is a different ticket than the 3 park pass. The 3 park pass includes Wet 'n Wild.

No reason at all. If you get the 4 day at one of the discount dealers, such as Undercover Tourist or Maple Leaf tickets, and then upgrade inside the park, you will probably save yourself some money, as Universal will give you their price for those tickets.

Here are the blackout dates for the power pass.
  • Blockout Dates:
  • Universal Studios Florida:
    • January 1 – 2, 2016
    • March 19, 2016 – April 2, 2016
    • December 17, 2016 – December 31, 2016
  • Islands of Adventure:
    • January 1 – 2, 2016
    • March 19, 2016 – April 2, 2016
    • June 11, 2016 – August 15, 2016
    • December 17, 2016 – December 31, 2016

I just did this in November. I had a 4 day park to park ticket bought from one of the online ticket brokers. It was either UT or Mapleleaf. Anyway it cost me only around $5 to upgrade to AP.

I went ahead and bought the 3 park unlimited. I know I can't upgrade them but one kid said she might like to go to a waterpark and husband said he had something else in mind for our next vacation. I figured at least my prices will be locked in if they go up a lot, but I think the best value (overall) is the upgrade, I just couldn't see how it would work for us. If only we lived closer.
And my crazy decision making:D was getting out of hand.
