Upgrading tickets to DVC Gold AP

It's been several years since we purchased our DVC membership. At the time, we bought two different contracts with two different Use years, so we had different membership IDs. For some reason (I have no idea why), I linked each membership ID to a different MDE account. I only used one of those accounts for all of our ticket purchases, so we only have magic bands on one of these accounts.

Fast forward a few years, and we sold one of our memberships - and it happened to be the one for the MDE account with all of our magic bands. So now I have one MDE account with a bunch of magic bands, and one MDE account with a DVC membership linked to it.

I purchased tickets from parksavers for our upcoming trip, and am planning on upgrading to a DVC gold pass once we are at the parks. I need to link the parksavers tickets to an MDE account, and would like to link them to the account with our magic bands so we can use our bands on our trip (we're staying off-site with friends this time, so we won't get new bands this go round). However, this account has no DVC membership associated with it. Will that affect my ability to upgrade to a DVC gold pass? I will have my membership card and ID, but will the fact that the membership is associated with a different MDE account affect my ability to upgrade?

I don't think my dvc account is actually linked to my mde account in any meaningful way. You might have to manually link your reservation, but I can't imagine any problems.
 
No problem. As long as you have your membership ID you'll be able to upgrade.

If you wanted to, IT should also be able to merge the 2 MDE accounts - or move the DVC affiliation to the account that you've been using if you are unable to do it yourself.

You should be able to call and get them all linked/changed to make life easier going forward.
 

Thanks for the help, everyone! Sounds like we shouldn't have any problems, but I'll work on getting the membership switched to our main MDE just to simplify:). I appreciate all the help!
