I am the current winner of the "Stupidest Move Award" - I purchased tickets through Airmiles without reading the fine print "terms and conditions" and received my tickets in the mail today. They expire in full the week BEFORE our trip. I went back, read the T&C and yes, it did say there was an expiry date. So my 2+2 day ticket, (3 park) are useless !
I tried calling Airmiles and they basically said 'sucks to be you, you should have read the T&C'. And they are right. It was entirely my fault.
I was planning on upgrading the tickets to APH anyways once we got there. So my only hope at this point is to find out through Universal if I can upgrade them now, before they expire, and before I go to the park. Does anyone know if they'll do that ? Last time, we just go to guest services but I won't be there before then.
I will call tomorrow I just wanted to know through you all, if anyone knows how to get this done so I don't waste over 7000 Airmile points...
