Upgrading Ticket Question

I am trying to save as much as possible on tickets for our next trip. I have read and re-read the sticky on upgrading tickets, but need some math help

If I buy a 2 day base ticket from Undercover Tourist ($217.96) what would it cost to upgrade to a 3 day base ticket once in Disney?

I see that a 2 day ticket is $211.94 though Disney, but I am using the Amex offer to get $30 back

That seems right. 1 and 2 day tickets are not discounted through UT. Have you looked to buy the 3 day ticket at UT? That should save you more

If you're only going into the WDW parks for three days, your trip is actually too short to be able to save much on tickets.
(And, as was said, 2-day tickets are not sold at a discount. 1-day and 2-day tickets actually cost MORE purchased from ticket resellers than they do bought directly from Disney.)

Short trips are the least economical way to visit WDW.
