Can this be done... for instance.. WE are at POR end of aug/sept
when we check in can see about upgrading to say - the Poly if it is
available?? pay the difference ect...:confused3

sure its OK - the rooms (if available) won't be any cheaper though. If you think this is something you really want to do and can do it financially - make the switch now. This way you can get excited about the Poly and do some homework on that resort.

Anyone have thoughts on what the cost difference would be from
the MOD to say the BC?? just wondering..

I know it is .. but right now the money isn't there - so if we can swing it prior to leaving we will.. but as of last minute if we can do it I want to make sure we could once we got there...

a lot :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I'm living the sticker shock now. :goodvibes

If you are going during value season, the moderates average about $160 a night, AK and WL are about $240 a night and the other deluxes are about $340ish

If you think it's expensive now just wait until you find out how much a room at a deluxe cost to a walk up. There will be no discount on the room.

because you are doing free dining you might not be able to switch on arrival and retain free dining. That's something to check out before the promo ends.

I would check on it now since you have FD. Doesn't hurt to call & see if they have space still. Sometimes waiting until you get there might be disappointing not to get what you want. Good luck on whatever you do.:)

1) When you check-in, you can have Front Desk ask for you.
2) It is up to the new resort (#2) to quote prices and deals.
3) REGARDLESS of the deal or package at #1, #2 does not have to honor it.
4) In fact, #2 resort can charge full rack-rate with no deal or package.
5) As a general rule
. . . you will pay the difference from #1 nightly rate to #2 nightly rack-rate
. . . package deals, such as DDP, are not carried to resort #2
. . . room choices/availability will be at the #2 resort's discretion
