Upgrading regular tickets to FL annual pass?

Quick question.....if I want to get a regular 5 day ticket to avoid blackout dates and go on a weekend, will disney let me upgrade it to a FL seasonal pass at the end of our trip?

I think as long as there is at least one day left on the ticket they will apply that cost to a annual pass upgrade. I believe there is a sticky thread on the boards that has all questions about tickets, check there too.

My dad and I originally bought 3day base tickets and at the end, before we hit AK on our last day, decided to upgrade to Park hoppers. The price ended up being almost the same as a seasonal pass so they allowed us to put all the money we had already spent on tickets towards the pass. So, in theory, they should and in experience, they've allowed us to do it before we used the final day of admission.

There does not need to be an unused day left a ticket in order to to upgrade it to a FL resident AP.
