Upgrading priceline Hyatt Orange to family suite

I know that people have posted that they've upgraded their rooms to kids suites upon arrival for around $45/night, but has anyone upgraded to a family suite and how much was it? Thanks.

I think the kids suite was $25 to upgrade.

I have no clue about the family suite.

I don't know if I have seen any posts about upgrading to a family suite, only kids suite.

I have searched biddingfortravel and betterbidding endlessly but they just talk about the bids they've won or are trying to get. They don't usually talk about what happened after they stayed there, like we do. I saw that people were paying $45/night extra lately for the kids suite (which I assumed was a more expensive room than the family suite, which just has a living room area with sleeper sofa, not bunk beds). I'l like an extra area for DD-7 and I would like to spend less than the extra $45.night.

What's the difference between a kids suite and a family suite? My guess is if there is a vacancy then they will let you upgrade Just ask them.
