Upgrading pass to AP

I will be leaving tomorrow on my first flight to anywhere! I have been advised that I can take my one day pass to guest services in one of the parks and have it upgraded to an AP with the DVC discount. The pass will be incorporated into my room key though, is that a problem? Has anyone had any difficulty upgrading their pass?

No - it won't be a problem. The CM at Guest Services can read the info on the back of your room key to get what is needed to do the upgrade.

We did the exact same thing on our trip this past August. We went to guest services on our arrival day at Downtown Disney and it was super easy. Enjoy your trip!
