Hello all,

We have a trip booked this year with the Free Dining offer. I plan on upgrading the tickets to an AP once we get there, but I just wanted to make sure that once I upgrade to the AP that I won't lose my Free Dining. The research that I've done says that I will keep the free dining, but I just wanted to make sure. I've upgraded package tickets in the past to an AP, but I've never had Free Dining before so I'm curious.

Your dining is tied to your hotel stay, not your tickets. So you'll be fine!

I think once you've checked in, you've fulfilled the obligations of the package.

I plan on doing the same during my free dining bounceback stay in December. Even booked a few post package days at Bay Lake Tower to get in additional MK days.

I did this in September and it worked fine. With the AP you get the memory maker photos included, so it seemed worth it to me. I did the upgrade on the first day before I entered the park so that all my photos would be included from the start.
