A few years ago our family of 4 bought tickets to the water parks and never used them. Both my kids were child age at the time. They are now 10 and 13. It's been 2 years since we were at WDW and it looks like tickets have changed quite a bit.
This year, when we go back, we are trying to figure out what we want to do with those tickets. As DVC members, we are probably going to buy a Gold Pass since we plan on making 3 trips in the next year, and none fall during the blackout dates.
I don't believe we can apply the cost of the water park tickets toward a Gold Pass, can we? If not, I see our options as follows-
1. Buy the Gold Pass, and use the water park tickets to go to a water park one day.
2. Buy the Gold Pass, and upgrade the water park tickets to a water park annual pass.
3. Use the water park tickets toward a Platnum Plus Pass (not cost effective since it would be more expensive than option #2, and we don't plan on going to WWoS or Oak Trail.
Am I missing anything? Am I correct in understanding that I can no longer use the tickets before upgrading to bridge the price difference?
Thanks for any help.
