Upgrading new Costco Parkhopper

Has anyone upgraded the 4 day Costco Parkhopper to an AP? I know you can, but does DL give you the face value, $159 toward an AP or the dollar equivalent of a 4-day ticket purchased at DL, which is $199 for a kid?

You get the value you paid.

At WDW they'll "bridge" the value to gate value, but that doesn't happen at DLR.
