Upgrading MYW to Annual pass?

I have booked a 1 day base magic your way ticket with my room package with Disney USA. I was wondering if I get a annual pass on our first day do I get a discount of the cost of the MYW ticket?

Yes, I asked this ? a couple of weeks ago and it seems that you don't so much get a discount. You upgrade your ticket and so pay the difference.
