upgrading MYW tickets to DVC discounted annual passes--possible or no?

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum, but I want to know if we can upgrade a MYW 9 day pass to an annual pass. I understand that the upgrade cost is the difference between the original ticket and the upgraded ticket. But can you still use your DVC discounted price as the upgraded rate, or would it be the full price? If anyone has done this or knows the answer, I would appreciate the info. Thanks

Yes, you can apply the cost of a MYW ticket to a DVC AP. If the tickets have already been used, the upgrade must be done within 14 days of first use. This applies even if the no-expire option was purchased.

The rules for upgrading are the same - matters not if you are buying a regular AP or the DVC AP.
