Our trip is June 5-11. I only purchased our room and base ticket package by 45 day mark and added on dining plan, WPF&M with hoppers and MM yesterday. After being on hold for 45 minutes and getting CM, we finally got everything added on. He wasn't the most "magical" CM I've ever encountered, but nothing to really irritate me too bad. So, after adding upgrades/changes, he then says that it was giving him error and was no longer recognizing my tickets and saying package needed tickets added but he didn't know why because he was looking at the hopper tickets on the screen. Soooo... He's going to talk to someone and see what's going on. By this time, I had to go bc I had errands to run and a teenager and a baby. I told him the transaction cleared as it texted the amount charged and id call later to fix whatever the issue was. So, fast forward a few hours and get home and it's no longer showing my reservation or tickets in MDE BUT still has all my dining res and FP+ (whew). So I call back to see what's going on, (again on hold for about 45 minutes) and get another CM and it took a few tries to explain to her what the issue is bc her screen is showing everything was ok. I just needed to call MDE and have them re-link my reservation. (Sigh) so after about 15 minutes on hold (improvement), I get a more knowledgeable CM (Yay!) that says I just need to relink myself on the app. As I'm doing this, he's looking at reservation saying he's not sure why it dropped the res to begin with and he'd never seen this. I said well no big deal bc I still have all my reservations including FP+, and then he proceeds to say, no you don't have your FP+ ressies. I'm dead silent for a second as it occurs to me I may have just lost not one but TWO Anna and Elsa FP... Seriously? No, I have my FP right here on the screen I tell him with panic in my voice. Please please don't tell me they're gone. Wait, he says, let me look again. Ok. Yes. There they are. It's all still there. (Holy geesh) breathing deep again, I say you can't do that to people and scare them like that. Whew. But, he adds, your magic bands are gone. Wait, what? No, I have my magic bands right here beside me. Are they deactivated now? Hold on he says, lemme check again. No, your magic bands are still activated, but it looks like you're getting another set. Why do I need another set? Well, when it dropped the reservation and they made the upgrades, apparently it's sending you new magic bands. So you can go customize those and have them shipped to you. Which I then proceeded to do. I'm not sure what gremlins got in the system while I was adding the upgrades, but I got an extra set of Magic Bands in the process. All is well in the end, but a process I thought would take less than hour ended up taking several.
