Upgrading military tickets

Our trip begins September 6, and we plan to be in the parks anywhere from 6 - 8 days. Our family is military and I can purchase 5 day tickets at my local MWR at a discount. Is is possible to upgrade these tickets at the parks or would I have to go to SOG? Can SOG do this over the phone? We won't be staying there and so I don't want to have to take time out to do this if I don't have to. It may be less of a hassle to just go to SOG and get all of the tickets. I dunno.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've never tried, but I don't think the military tickets are upgradeable. Probably easier to just buy them at SOG. We're leaving in 12 days! 9/3 to 9/10 at POR.
