Hi. I've read several threads on this, but I just wanted to confirm a few things. I currently have a 7 day hopper for my September trip that I purchased from Disney before the price increase.

1. If I upgrade to the Platinum Annual Pass the cost would be $829.64 (AP +tax) - $467.54 (price I paid for hopper in January)??
2. I have already purchased the Memory Maker. Will they apply the $149 toward my upgrade?
3. Does everyone in my party get the dining discounts offered with the annual pass?
4. Will the photos from everyone's magic bands be included in my free photopass downloads?
5. Can I upgrade the ticket at Guest Services in Disney Springs before using any of the days or do I have to wait until I enter the park?

Thanks for the help!!

1. Yes
2. They will likely give you a refund if you ask. Maybe someone else has done this--I have not.
3. Officially, 4 people per AP, but my family of 5 has never been questioned, though I only ever show one AP.
4. You can download free the photos from your own bands and all of your MDE friends' bands.
5. Yes. Do it whenever you'd like (but before the ticket is all used up).

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but isn't it beneficial to enter a park before you upgrade? I thought then you were allowed the current price of your type of ticket towards the AP.

There is no longer a need to use a ticket at least once before you use it to upgrade. However, if you purchased the ticket prior to the 02/12/17 price increase (or bought from a ticket seller's leftover stock after that date) you will only get whatever the gate price for that ticket was on 02/11/2017.

We purchased hopper passes and the dining plan for 7 days. Leaving 4/24! Hubby says that we should also plan on a trip in the fall for food and wine festival. Is it worth it to trade one pass in for an annual pass? Will all the ADR's also transfer? How much would we save? Thanks for the help!

You spent about $500 on your 7-day hopper, right (with tax)? If you are a non-FL resident/non-DVC owner, the AP will cost an additional $350ish. Is that cheaper than the fall ticket you would buy? If so, easy call.

No bearing on ADRs--they're not tied to tickets.

Has anyone ever converted tickets they purchased from Undercover Tourist? We purchased when the discount was buy 4 days get 2 free...so I'm trying to figure out how that works when converting to an AP. Ideas?

Yes, I have. The value that gets applied to your upgrade will be dependent on whether you bought pre- or post-Feb. 12, 2017 tickets. Keep in mind that UT continued to sell pre-Feb 12 tickets after the actual date.

I just ended up upgrading to one annual pass after figuring out the discounts. We will be there for one night at AKL Jambo house in two rooms, then have rented a 2 bedroom villa through a broker for 6 nights. It is really worth crunching the numbers to see how it will effect you.

First night room cost was reduced by $85 total.
Memory Maker: $149
For the first 3 nights four of us will be eating one table service meal, then 6 of us (all adults) will be eating together the remaining 4 nights, one table service a day. The difference in cost is in our favor, even without adding an additional trip.
