Upgrading GAD ticket to an AP?

I'm trying to find specifics on this, and I'm not really finding much! Has anyone done this yet?

We are thinking of doing this, but I'm wondering if there are limitations or rules about this or anything.

For example, would the AP start on the day you exchange your voucher and upgrade your ticket? Or would you get an AP voucher to exchange when you wanted it activated?

So many questions!

Like any upgrade to an AP, the AP's start date is back-dated to the date of first use of the original ticket, which in this case would be the day you redeemed the voucher and used the 1-day ticket.

I think this post answered my question but I just want to clearify. Disney will allow me to upgrade my DAG ticket to an annual pass?

Good question! I was thinking of the same thing! How much more do you think it would be? :surfweb:

For any upgrade from a GAD you will pay the difference between the cost of the ticket you are upgrading to and the value of a one-day, one-park, ticket plus the tax on the difference.
