Hi. My wife and I purchased 2-day tickets for Disneyland/California Adventure back in July. Subsequently, we found out her family would be spending additional time in the area, and we wanted to add a third day to our existing passes.
I contacted Disney by text and by phone asking if we could make this change and pay the difference in cost. We we told the only thing that could be done was for us to purchase the 3-day passes, and then request a refund on the 2-day passes.
While we would be ok doing that, the day that we have booked for California Adventure now no longer has reservations available. As this is a family trip and others have that day at CA booked, we don't want to lose that reso.
Is there a way to either add the third day to our existing tickets, or at least get an assurance that if we purchase the 3-day, that our resos for CA can be transferred to the new tickets?
