Upgrading Discount MYW Passes to DVC AP's ????

I've been trying to find an answer tho this for some time now with no luck at all....


If we purchased discounted MYW passes and wanted to upgrade them to AP's with the DVC discount, would we receive credit for the "gate price" value of the passes, or would they give credit for the "actual" price paid....

I know that with the old hoppers, you received the actual price paid, but I was under the impression that this changed when the MYW passes came out.
I've read conflicting info about this and was hoping someone here has done this.....

Disney's policy has always been to credit only the cash value (price paid) left on admission tickets for upgrades. I am moving this over to Theme Parks where you should receive more input.

Yes, you'll receive credit for what you paid for the tickets and then be charged the DVC AP price.
