Upgrading child ticket to adult?

My daughter was 9y/o last year when we went to WDW, when we go in December she will be 10y/o. What do I have to do to get her ticket upgraded to the adult version? We have 6 days left on our pass. Will I need to pay anything to do the upgrade? I thought I had read something that it is done for free. Thanks for the info.

I just did the same thing last month. I just took her kid ticket to the ticket window at the park and they upgraded it to adult, no charge.
