Upgrading at DW to Gold Pass?

i have purchased two 3 day passes and we are going to DW in Sept, if I become a direct DVC member and I want to upgrade to a gold pass on my 3 day passes is that possible?

What do you mean? If you have a family of four... Can you upgrade say 4 different 8 day tickets?

Yes. You can apply one ticket to each upgrade to an annual pass.

If you have 4 different tickets, you would have to get 4 different annual passes to upgrade each of the 4 tickets to an annual pass.

Great thanks! I am planning a five night trip between Christmas and New Years. Dvc gold blackout dates. Do you know if I can use the tickets during blackout period and then upgrade before we leave? Any idea how cost is calculated?

Yes. The original question was a bit ambiguous since the OP asks about upgrading "two" tickets but used the singular when referring to the annual pass. Any one ticket can be upgraded, but you cannot exchange two tickets towards one new ticket.

Yes. You can use the ticket on a blackout date and still upgrade to a Gold pass. Pricing is calculated according to the normal "bridging" rules. If the ticket is bridgable, you'll get the current gate price applied towards the new ticket.
