upgrading annual pass

i have a signature and want to go to deluxe. Renewal date is in July. How does that work? Can I do it? Do I pay for the whole upgrade or is there a prorated amount for the remainder of the time? (About 6 months left)

Friends have told me that they had to pay the entire upgrade and that Disney does not prorate. I'm not sure I understand you clearly, though. Deluxe is below Signature. You would not be upgrading, but downgrading, which is a different issue.

If you are upgrading there is no pro-Rating. I got my AP in October 2014 and upgraded in April 2015. They asked me several times if I was sure because I'd have to pay the full difference.

Was the deluxe AP a renewal? You'll lose your $40 renewal discount. To upgrade, just go to the ticket booth and pay the difference between what you pay and the full gate price of the signature AP. If your current AP doesn't have parking, you can take your parking receipt and apply it towards the upgrade.

Regardless of time left of your current AP, you pay the FULL difference in APs but it retains the expiration date of the original AP. An upgrade does not extend the expiration date.

You can upgrade over the phone, just call the AP line714) 781-7277. I upgraded from a deluxe to a signature and they even let me pay the difference with a gift card. It was so easy!

Signature to Signature + in late December. Did it at the ticket booth, but they forgot to add my extra month (13 for 12). If you upgrade during the promotion don't forget to get your extra month! I have a call in to AP services so that a supervisor can correct the error.

I had to pay the entire $250 difference, but it was worth it! I had 3 days during a block out period and went to Club 33, had a VIP tour and spent New Years Eve in DCA! Wife and son have deluxes, but used 6 one day PHs from Club member for the trip.

Does the difference have to be paid all at once or can they add it to your monthly payment?
Also if you have more than one parking receipts for days you came in will they refund those?
