Upgrading AAA Park Hopper to MYW . . .

I have unused 5-day park hopper tickets. We would like to possibly upgrade to a 7-day MYW no exp. park hopper. This is possible, right? If so, does anyone know if it a hassle?

Also, what credit would I get for the 5-day park hopper passes if I purchased through AAA earlier this year? When upgrading, would I be charged the gate price or the advance price for the MYW tickets?

Any help is greatly appreciated. thanks.

I had similar questions from purchasing 4 day park hoppers from AAA.

On my thread, someone listed a link that really helped:

I think you actually get more than what you paid for 'cause they can't tell you got a AAA discount on your tickets when they check to see what they are worth.

I'm upgrading my tickets to MYW premiums this October. One think I learned which was a big deal for me is that you can't do this at the resorts, you have to go to a park Guest Relations to upgrade.

That site had a lot of information. I understand most of it, but it is a bit confusing. I have 2 old hopper passes with 3 park days and 4 pluses left. I have 2 kids tickets with 1 day park hopping left and 4 pluses as well. I'm still a little confused, but like the article says, you have to really think about it and explore your options first.

Can this only be done at Guest Relations inside the park? Can it be done at a ticket booth outside the park?

There is a number they refer you to when you call about ticket issues. You may get them to do something thru the mail, but what I was told was you had to wait until you got to Guest Relations to upgrade and change.

Also,...and this is for Titus.....you can only upgrade or change ONE set of tickets at a time. So if you have a pile of tickets at home you can't go to Guest Relations, plomp them done and have them add them all up and traded for 1 MYW stay. You'd only be able to bring one set of tickets to upgrade/change.

Also if you're old tickets have been used at all, you're new tickets have to match the add ons. ie: if your old tickets had no expiration, you have to purchase the no expiration for your MYW tickets etc.

Pretty confusing!
