Upgrading a park hopper to an AP?

As far as I know, no, you cannot combine ticket values to upgrade to an AP. I've only ever been able to upgrade one ticket to an AP (i.e., take an existing, valid ticket and apply the value of that ticket to the AP).

Well that stinks. Someone told me I could do it by getting a regular AP and then during a later visit applying the AP + the other ticket toward the premier pass, but I was hoping to possibly do it all at once. Thanks.

So, does anyone know if I can give my dh the hopper I already bought for DL? It's electronic....on my phone. That would be perfect. Otherwise it makes no sense to upgrade.

Silly question. We are upgrading on the 1st of December from Park-hoppers to AP's. We already have a Fantasmic package and are planning to book a Christmas tour. Can we get the AP discount on those tours/meals once we arrive (ie: after they have been previously booked)? Is there anything special we would need to do?

I also have 5-day park hoppers and am planning to upgrade to an AP on arrival. When I booked my holiday tour a few days ago, they agreed to give me the discount as long as I showed my AP upon checking in for the tour. The CM did put me on hold to check that so it might depend who you talk to. The F! package is just a reservation and you pay when you use it, so as long as you've upgraded before you dine, the discount should be applied.

You should be able to print it out and then give it to your hubby. They will exchange it for a paper ticket once it is used at the turnstile and then take his photograph and assign it to him.

The Premier AP is about $1,135 ($1,099 plus tax).

I just looked into this because we're headed to WDW after DL. I only found the price to be $1439 am I looking at the wrong place? I should have done it this past trip since we were just at WDW this past May and we did a TON of dining. Ug! Thanks for any input.

$1,439+FL Tax. is the correct price. Disney increased the price of the Premier Pass in October.

Unfortunately prices went up about a month after the post you quoted. The new price is indeed $1439.
