Upgrading a 3 for 5 to AP

We have the 3 for 5 day parkhopper and I am now thinking of upgrading to an AP...

Do I look at the price for a three day hopper when calculating the difference for an AP? or a 5 day ph?

The price you actually paid for your "3 for 5" ticket is embedded in your ticket. Disneyland will credit what you actually paid for your ticket toward your AP.

The 3 day, or what you actually paid for the hopper pass.

As the other people have said, you only get credit for what you paid. The price you paid is actually encoded in the ticket, so the cms will know. I believe the 3 for 5 was $149. To upgrade to a deluxe AP would cost you $140.

What do you guys think......

we actually won the tickets in a contest and I am not sure how much they cost.....I though maybe we could upgrade and get another trip out of these for next year

just need to convince my husband of this new, wonderful idea of mine
